Film location for Tom Hanks’ Band of Brothers, Currahee Mountain is located 20 minutes from the gates of Currahee Club, offering easy access to hiking trails with dramatic views of Toccoa and the surrounding area. Currahee Club is also located near the Appalachian, Bartram and Foothills trail systems.

Cycling
Whether planning a leisurely ride with the grandkids or training for your next race, the rolling hills and steep climbs in and around Currahee Club offer the perfect landscape to enjoy the great outdoors from two wheels.

Ziplining
There is no better setting than the picturesque North Georgia mountains to soar through the trees and fly over wooded expanses, naturally powered by gradual elevation changes. Ziplining is just a short ride away and is a memory-making adventure for everyone.

Whitewater Rafting
Chosen as the venue for the 1996 Olympic whitewater events, the Ocoee River runs from Tennessee to North Georgia. If the thrills of whitewater rafting are more your speed, there are several different outdoor expedition companies and rivers a short drive from Currahee Club.

Hunting
For the avid sportsman, Currahee Club is the perfect base camp from which to organize hunting trips or join guided hunting adventures for spring turkey, whitetail deer, black bear, quail, rabbit and other small game.

CATAWBA TRAIL
Residents and members at Currahee Club can enjoy the great outdoors right here on property with our 1.5-mile trail loop called Catawba Trail. Perfect for a brisk morning walk or afternoon jog, this picturesque trail features fit stations, a series of outdoor exercise stations and equipment with instructional signs designed for both novice and conditioned athletes.
