Drew Echols joins Team Currahee as Restaurant Services Manager
Drew moved from Atlanta GA to Cleveland TN in 2006 to attend Lee University. After completing his Bachelors’ degree in Communication Studies he then started what was to solidify his career, at The Bald Headed Bistro in Cleveland. He spent the last 9 years at this great dining establishment mastering all aspects of becoming a true Restaurateur. Initially starting as a Host he nurtured relationships and began a love affair with looking after customers. He then quickly became one of the most requested Bistro servers in the restaurant and was then promoted to join the specialized Private Dining Room team. There he entertained and catered to VIP’s, Fortune 500 CEO’s and dedicated foodies/wine buffs who would all expect nothing but the very best in culinary services and dining experiences.
Drew then became responsible as Manager for all events, speaker programs, corporate dinners, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, and private events to be held in the restaurant, where he coordinated all aspects of the dining experience. After building up a successful extended business portfolio for the Private Dining Room, he was once again promoted to become the Director of Sales and Events. Drew has consistently taken great pride in building relationships with all of his guests whether they are regulars or new customers. His professional team-player hands on approach, where he uses his infectious passion for over delivering on the dining experience will be a tremendous asset for everyone at Currahee.
During his 9 year tenure at the extremely popular established restaurant, Drew also covered all aspects of the Bar operation and enjoys a passion for cocktails, with a keen desire to master the many different complexities of great Bourbons. Currahee has secured the services of a true Restaurant professional whose dedication to perfect his expertise will be put to great use every day looking after the Property Owners, Members’ and their guests.
